# Credit Vault

Settlement and capital efficiency are provided by the Credit Vault, which interfaces directly with the Dark Pool Execution Engine.

The vault enables atomic execution flows in which credit provisioning, trade settlement, and state transitions occur within a unified onchain context. This architecture allows trades to be executed without full pre-funding by both counterparties, improving capital efficiency while maintaining settlement integrity.

The Credit Vault acts as the secure settlement backbone. While the RL engine optimizes the match, the Credit Vault ensures the integrity of the transfer, decoupling execution complexity from trust friction.
